I cobbled together this oxygen-boosted website for the *BEST MAN* at my wedding !! ;-D
The Backstory
Cédric has been a paysagist since 1994. He came to me looking for a website architect almost a decade ago, and I gladly built a site for him !! Although the site is no longer live, I still love what we created, and I stand by the choices that we made together. ‘Twas a WordPress site using a StudioPress theme. I messed w/ the CSS to use an image that I purchased from iStock and doctored up w/ Illustrator for use as a background image.
I chose a vector-based background to complement (rather than compete with) the gorgeous photos on the site. We built the site during the good ol’ days … ie. pre-Gutenberg … I loved this project b/c the photos themselves (flowers, gardens, patios ;-D) brightened up my day each time I sat at the computer !! ;-D
